Word of the Week

I introduced the Word of the Week to help us improve our working knowledge of the English language. Your part if you choose to participate is to be aware of and use each word for the entire week whenever the opportunity presents itself. This way we will all increase our vocabulary and our knowledge of the English language supplying us with a very effective tool to utilize on our road to success.

temerity

te·mer·i·ty /təˈmerəti/ noun

the quality of being confident and unafraid of danger or punishment.

From a poem entitled “It’s No Surprise”

“Eyes exuding sincerity,

understanding, temerity,

is why I love you.”

Grow Your-Self

When we attach ourselves to others opinions and ideas about who they think we should be we severely limit our growth. In fact the growth we will experience is not our own at all. When we allow others opinions about us to be our influence we are being driven by outside forces and become other peoples ideas of what and who they think we should be, what is best for us….oops, or should I say them.

This is not to say we should never seek the council of others or discount what they may have to say if it is relevant to our worthy ideals and is in harmony with the direction our purpose. Become the observer. It is important to test these opinions and ideas each day by turning them over to our inner Power of Intelligence and releasing them, allowing the answers to come to us.
Here is a great quote to keep on hand.

“Other people’s values will bring you other people’s results.
But your values bring fulfillment and joy.
Always remember it is nobler to imperfectly pursue
your own vision than to perfectly pursue the vision of another.” - James Arthur Ray

In this coming year let’s make a priority of growing our-self, challenging the opinions and advices of others, discarding any that are not in keeping with our purpose. The only one who truly knows your path is you.

On Being Genuine

In any life endeavor, whether it is business, friendship, or love it is imperative we be genuine, be our true self from day one. When emotions are running high it is very easy to compensate and put forth an image which does not represent our true blueprints. Our body chemistry is such that we are willing to temporarily forgo many desires, habits and character traits we would normally display in order to successfully attract the desired result at the time. This may work fine for a brief relationship or business venture but can never work in the long term unless we are willing to adopt our new thought patterns and eliminate old blueprints that will not support them. Failure to do this will result in our old programming resurfacing some time in the future very likely bringing with it resentment and a feeling of incompleteness.

This is not to say we cannot have a successful business or long-term relationship otherwise, but it will be sub maximal to what should be, had we followed our true self. We can still be happy and content should we choose to conform to a lesser existence rolling languidly along, but it will be impossible to experience the full of life we were meant to create.

In the end we will look back and either say; “Wow, my life has been full and satisfying.” Or; “If only I had followed my passion……I could have been or done……”

The decision is ours and ours alone. If our life is not all we would like it to be it is because of our decisions to this point. We have not been genuine with our self, our true purpose. We have allowed outside influences to dictate our thoughts and decisions. Nothing outside of us is to blame. The only way to take a new direction in our life toward all that we were meant to be is to change us, not the other guy, not the environment. We must be genuine, discover what we are passionate about and focus all our intention upon it adopting new blueprints and relationships that support it. There must be a willingness to let go of what was, the comfort zone we have allowed our self to slip into and does not support our purpose.

The first difficult step is to be honest with our self, genuine. The second and probably the hardest step will be to take sustained action against resistance. We are likely to experience lots of it. The bigger the change the greater the resistance will be.

Difficult Tasks

Two of the most difficult tasks we will ever perform in our life are;
  1. To live our purpose without regret, not trying to please everyone around us.
  2. To allow another to live their purpose without judgment, especially those close to our heart.

Preparedness

If our desire is to realize abundance, health, love or anything else we must prepare ourselves to receive it.

It is absurd to expect perfect health while maintaining a sickly consciousness continually giving attention to those things that ail us. Giving our thought attention, discussing our or another’s sniffles, aches, and pains can only produce more of the same. It is important to understand that the body is the servant of the mind. Happy and beautiful thoughts will bring health and vitality. Pessimistic thoughts and thoughts of ill will, envy, and disappointment can only bring the body into decay. Anxiety opens the whole body to disease while strong confident thoughts will build the body up. We must guard our thoughts for the body is delicate and responds to that which we impress upon it.

I am aware there are other things to consider such as nutrition and exercise however these will have minimal affect if our thoughts are impure. Optimum health begins and ends with the mind. Our bodies are merely a reflection of what is within.

To receive optimum health or any other thing we might desire it is first necessary to prepare our inner environment to be conducive to that which we wish to manifest in our physical world.
Abundance cannot live in an environment of lack and limitation.
Health cannot exist in the mind of impurity.

Love cannot be experienced in a mind of hate, selfishness, envy or any of the many negative environments we create through impure thinking.

Always Forward

In moving forward we must remember “Energy flows where attention goes.” Thought is energy.

How can we move forward if our attention is on our past, thinking I should have done this or said that?

How can we move forward if our energy is focused on fear…. speculation…. unfounded doubts?

How can we move forward if our focus is on anything but what we wish to accomplish…whether it be business, relationship or otherwise?

We cannot expend energy trying to convince everyone around us that our purpose is worthy. You will never please everyone and may possibly lose some friendships or even sever some family ties because they will choose to be inflexible and self-serving. Their “judgments” will be based on the appearance of things as they see them, not the Truth. They cannot know our purpose nor what is best for us, we cannot continually direct our energy toward the life others think we should live, trying to please all, and ever hope to experience our purpose. Their teaching and understanding will come in their time…. when they are ready to receive it.

Moving forward toward our purpose = sacrifice of what currently is. Much will have to be left behind. There must be a willingness to let go of old thinking patterns producing our current habits and behaviors. If we wish to move forward in any area of life we must redirect our energy, how we think about it, to create new results.

Sacrifice little – move little

Sacrifice much – move a lot

To everything there is a gestation period. Total focus of energy on our purpose = fastest result.
We must gather all our energy, recall it from its fragmented state of worry about the past and things not yet realized, bring all into one focus as you would the heat of the sun by use of a magnifying glass, to target that which we wish to create.

If you believe that what you are doing is worthwhile, meaningful, exciting, and achievable, it will show up in your demeanor and your actions.

Set your mind toward the thing you want to accomplish, so resolutely, so definitely, and with such enthusiastic determination, and put so much grit into your resolution, that nothing on earth can turn you from your purpose until you attain it.

Limiting Labels Limits

Labels, whether self imposed or programmed by memetic or genetic beliefs, set boundaries by which we define ourselves. These boundaries are like chains that imprison us giving us excuses why we can’t experience all that we desire in our physical life.

Spend time this week discovering the different labels you place on yourself. Where did they come from? Why have you accepted them as truth? How are they limiting? How might you discard these out-dated limiting labels, allowing you to move forward toward all you deserve out of life?

The famous Dutch theologian Soren Kierkegaard said; “Once you label me you negate me.”

Deep Sixed

My post on the 6/6/6 program seems to have intrigued several of my clients who were not training with me at the time of its inception back in the year 2000.

My training partners and I resurrected the program this week, (paying the price todayJ), and several others will follow as there current program comes to an end.

So here is the deal. To add a little incentive and fun to it anyone who completes the program as designed will receive a 6/6/6 T-shirt and a certificate of success. You may design your own 6/6/6 program which must be approved as worthy, (just email it to me), or I can send you the original 6/6/6 program. Send me your start and end date. On completion you will be required to email a signed completion form and include at least one witness for verification.

I accept no responsibility for any injuries or consequences arising from the program and cannot be held accountable in any way. Your participation is solely at your own risk. Please be sure to consult your physician before beginning this or any other program. This is not a beginner program.

Perhaps

Perhaps neither this thing nor that
are responsible for holding me back
Perhaps they're in me
these restrictions I see
Perhaps if I change my perception – my point of view
I’ll come to understand things a new
Perhaps from inside if I change how I think
how I perceive my environment, I’ll make the link
To realize new growth, to really be free
I must reconnect with Infinite Power residing in me
I am responsible, it’s my state of mind - to which all react
I am the one who determines that
For what I give out will always come back
The Law of Receiving is proof of this Truth
So if I wish love, prosperity and joy, I must wish it for you, and for you, and to all
I must give it away
For tenfold will return some future day

Everlasting Success

Success in any endeavor begins and ends with looking inside and changing what needs to be changed.

If your goal is to lose weight, get in shape, find a new job, earn a million dollars, get along with certain “difficult” people, the process is always the same. Your success lays waiting inside of you. Any program worth undertaking, laying out your cash for will teach this first and foremost. Your focus must remain internal – forget what you see and perceive as Truth in your physical world for it is simply what you have created to this point in time and may be changed in a moment. Facts – appearances are always changing – the Truth remains. Build your ideal internal world first. All things come to us through a very definite process that never changes. It is universal and every one of us makes use of it whether knowingly or not. Spiritual – Intellectual - Physical. There can be no other way.

You may experience temporary success applying outside stimulus, such as a motivational speaker, but once the outside stimulus is removed the old shall return with a vengeance even as much as tenfold.
Lasting successful change begins and ends with eradicating old blueprints that no longer or never did support your worthy ideals and creating new supportive blueprints.

Serve with Knowledge

"Man is so constructed that he may utilize the elements of his life to build himself up into ever increasing power, betterment and success. He is also subtly related to everything outside of himself that this purpose may be fulfilled. Such fulfillment, however, will depend on the actual use he makes of his mind, and whether he chooses to serve in ignorance or to govern with knowledge the forces in his life." - Raymond Holliwell, Working With The Law

Many...

Many, are willing to acquire the knowledge.

Many, are eager to offer advice.

Many, say I will start tomorrow.

Few are willing, to do the work.

Fewer still, master the work.

Therefore they remain bound.

Self

“You can never become more than you imagine yourself to be.” - Marshall, Premier Blueprints

Our success will always be equal to the image we currently possess of our-self.

If we desire more money, better relationships, a higher paying job then we must think bigger, dream bigger and create bigger desires than those we currently hold. We must first become the type of person who possesses these things before we can manifest them. If our current self -image does not support our worthy desires then we must create a bigger self-image.

We must be totally honest with our-self in realizing we are solely responsible for our present circumstance and environment. By our thought choices, feelings and actions we are the creators of what we are presently experiencing in our physical world. The government, your Aunt Lucy, your spouse, or your parents are not responsible; YOU ARE and ONLY YOU.

"Our lives improve only when we take chances - and the first and most difficult risk we can take is to be honest with ourselves." - Walter Anderson

Let’s take an honest look at our-self this week. Not how others see us but what is truly in our heart. Strip away all the walls we have built to protect our-self from the outside world and discover what really represents us at this point in time for this is what is responsible for our current situation. This is what is responsible for our thought choices, feelings, actions and results.

Now take out a piece of paper and make two columns. Label one column what represents me today. Label the other column what I desire to represent me.

Under column one write down all the things you discover about what represents who you are today. Under column two write down all the things you desire to define you. If column one does not reflect column two we have work to do.

There is a definite process for evolving from column one to column two. It begins with right thinking. If you desire to become a bigger you, to experience a higher quality of what life has to offer drop me an email and we’ll get started. Premierblueprints@gmail.com

Can You Survive?

Ok. It has been some time since I have written anything about training so today I would like to challenge all hard-core trainers to try a program called 6/6/6. See if you can survive the six weeks.

Here is how it works:

You will train three days per week. No more.

Divide your body in half: Chest, legs, and biceps on day one. Back, shoulders, and triceps on day three and core training on day two. This is an example. You may divide your training up as you see fit.

For day one and three choose one compound exercise per body part. Bench press for chest, squats for legs and olympic curls for biceps would be a good example.

You will perform only three sets for each exercise. Each set will consist of three mini sets of six repetitions with a 15 seconds rest between each mini set. Take at least two minutes rest between completed sets. Be sure to handle as much weight as possible in good form each and every time.

On day two for core training choose one exercise for each core muscle and perform in a circuit fashion. Keep your reps between 12 and 15. Three complete circuits back to back will be sufficient.

This program is grueling when performed properly but the results are amazing. Take a full week off after completing the six weeks.

I would be interested to hear any feed back from anyone who cares to attempt this program.
I accept no responsibility and cannot be held accountable for any injury or difficulties arising from this program. This is an extremely advanced program. Please consult your trainer and physician before undertaking any physical activity.

Above all have fun and train hard.

Trust, Co-operation

If we wish to gain the co-operation and trust of those in our charge it is imperative we include them in important decision making processes and at times allow them the freedom to make the decision on their own. This is of particular importance when dealing with our youth.

However it is of equal importance to first guide those to whom we have been entrusted, in the ways of proper thinking, leading to the best result. Our youth must be taught from an early age that there is an Infinite Storehouse of knowledge within them whom they can trust to reveal the answers they seek. They need to be well versed in the proper order of sequence as to how we create our outside environment. Far better they understand how to have a hand in creating their life than being blindly swept along life’s journey.

It is of particular importance to bear in mind their decisions will not always be congenial to our way of thinking. This is ok. We may give council, let our concerns be known, but they must be allowed to be individuals, responsible for and experiencing the benefits or consequences of the path they choose knowing we are always there for them no matter.

In this way our youth will know they are loved, they are important, and we value and respect their opinions and decisions. They will grow to be responsible successful citizens able to think for themselves, able to realize their worthy ideals.

Words

A word, is just a word, is just a word, until we give it meaning.

The meaning we choose to give words is often based on past experience whether relevant to the present situation or not.

Very often it depends on who is delivering the words and the manner in which they are delivered.

Truth is, we, decide whether a word will be damaging, hurtful, inspiring, playful, insulting or whatever. People and words can do nothing on their own. If we are insulted by some comment it is because we have chosen to personalize it in such manner as to allow damage to ourselves through emotional distress.

When we learn to be the witness we gain power over words and our response to them. We now have the ability to weigh each word for its value and relevance using them to either encourage us or show us where we may need to make some changes.

Being the witness also allows us the luxury of being nonjudgmental, loving the deliverer and being appreciative of their insight or having compassion and empathy for their misguided thoughts and behaviors.

Spend the weekend observing words and comments, how you respond to them and how you might respond differently to create a positive experience. Also ask yourself why people would say such things. Include your self- talk as well.

Failure or Opportunity

Once we come to see our failings, our sorrows and sufferings, not as losses, but as so many voices telling us plainly where we are weak and faulty, where we fall below our true desires, we will then begin to continually watch ourselves, and every slip, every pang of pain, will show us where we are to set to work and what we must remove from our being in order to bring us nearer our worthy intentions.

Nowhere to Hide

We may renounce our outward behaviors and habits that bind us, continually bringing suffering and dis-ease. We may flee to the highest mountain top, travel to the farthest lands or hide in the depths of the deepest caves in an attempt to remove the temptations of our selfish habitual behaviors. It is foolishness and the ignorance of the untrained mind, which believes by merely removing outside circumstance and environment their wretchedness, will leave them for all these things come from within.

They will haunt, continually returning their wrath upon us until we, by totally renouncing our inward error, rout them out as we would a bad weed and planting the seeds of love, peace, joy, health and prosperity in their place.

The power of our subconscious mind, the Infinite Intelligence that God has put in all of us is our key to freedom. We must learn the laws governed by the Key to enable effective use.

How Far Have We Come?

So this is number one hundred. Seems like it was only yesterday this was just a dream in my mind.

It reminds me of the words from James Allen; “The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn; the bird waits in the egg; and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.”

Let me ask each one. Since the launch of this blog what have you done to advance yourself toward your worthy ideals?

How many courses or lectures have you attended?

How much time has been wasted on television?

How many personal development books and programs have you completed?

How much valuable time has been wasted on video games?

How many people have you helped along your path?

How much time each day is spent meditating on and visualizing your goals?

How much time has been lost trying to please others in ways that are contrary to your desires?

What steps have you taken toward improved fitness and health?

Where are you going and is everything you do taking you in that direction?

Take some time for reflection. Reevaluate. Revisit your goal statements and update them along with your daily action steps and affirmations. Begin anew creating the life you deserve to have. Take time to reread the blog posts and study them. Meditate on them and see how they apply to your personal circumstance and how you might use them to advance toward your intentions.

Together we can make it happen.

We cannot travel within and remain still without.

I want to personally thank all who take time to read this blog. My hope is that I have touched a few lives and helped them in some way to a better quality of life.

We'll have your stories on Monday.

Knowledge

All knowledge is from one source which is life itself and is available equally to all.

The knowledge which gives us 2+2=4 also reveals to us the complexities of space flight.

The knowledge the great inventors, philosophers and business people of the past made use of is the same knowledge available to those we consider wise or great today and will be the same for all future great men and women. This same knowledge is equally available to you and me.

Many of our greatest contributors had very little formal education. So what was their secret to success?

Without exception they all had the ability and understood how to connect with their Inner Intelligence. This is the same Infinite Intelligence which is in all of us. This is the Intelligence that wakes you with that ah ha moment at four o’clock in the morning.

We have the ability to learn and become whatever we desire simply by focusing our thoughts in the direction of choice, building on the knowledge which has come before and allowing Infinite Intelligence to reveal the resources and answers we need to advance toward our worthy ideal. Once committed it seems like magic how the right people and circumstances begin to show up. We must be vigilant and ready to act upon what is made available to us.

Never should we allow lack of education arrest our journey toward our passion. In truth we are capable of learning anything we have a passion for. A passion is never given without the means to fulfill it. Lack of education is nothing more than a sad excuse for the lazy person who has become too comfortable in their position and will give you any number of excuses as to why they cannot pursue their dream. And that is what it becomes, a surface dream.

For those who welcome change and advancement in life it will necessitate right thinking and action as the way is revealed. It is like digging for gold nuggets. With faith, persistence and a grateful heart our treasures will be revealed as we are ready to receive them.

From James Allen’s From Poverty to Power; Meditation is the intense dwelling, in thought, upon an idea or theme, with the object of thoroughly comprehending it, and whatsoever you constantly meditate upon, you not only will come to understand but will grow more and more into its likeness, for it will become incorporated into your very being, will become, in fact, your very self.

Flurry of Thoughts

With snow on the way and the inevitable traffic snarls I was reminded of a journal entry I wrote last year. Today I would like to share it with you.

Journal Entry January 07 / 09

What a beautiful blustery snow day!! Nature has provided us with some awesome weather patterns full of beauty and power. They are truly a wonder to behold and be thankful for. Ah you say, but they can cause destruction and stress……or is it opportunity?

This morning there are all kinds of commuters stuck in traffic with the snow storm and an ongoing bus strike not helping the situation. Seems like a pretty stressful dismal situation and most will choose to see it this way. They will get tense and their blood pressure will rise while they curse and swear at every driver around them, the miserable weather and wonder what they ever did to deserve this. The whole day is ruined as they envision another miserable commute on the way home. This is the outlook of most that are functioning on the competitive plane.

As I have said though, appearances of things are seldom the truth. In truth you have a choice here. You are responsible for the kind of day you decide to have regardless of circumstance. How might you spend your time constructively instead of whining about the weather and traffic which is beyond your control anyway? Does whining and fretting improve your present environment? Does it move you toward your desired stress reduced lifestyle? Can you see an opportunity in the above situation? Most that are guided by their subconscious and living on the creative plane will take this opportunity to put on some relaxing music, a motivational or personal development CD. Perhaps they may use the time to rethink the new modification they were considering for their new invention which is due to hit the market in a few months time. Your time and situation is what you make of it.

There is always choice.

We can waste it and do great harm to ourselves or relax and take advantage of the extra time provided to us. Realize every situation has a positive constructive reason for placing us in it. It is our responsibility to discover that reason.

Change

Change is the only constant in our physical world.

It is the ebb and flow of life.

Endings bring opportunity for new beginnings.

Each day starts with the possibility to build on what has gone before or discard that which no longer serves us.

Become the observer. Experience the emotions, let them come and go as they will, as they must, but do not attach your self to them.

This is made possible by developing the spirit of now. This moment is all we ever have. What has past is gone forever; the future is not yet here. It is in this moment we have opportunity to make it as we wish.

To attach ourselves to the past or worry for the future is of no purpose, diminishing all that is good coming to us.

Guard Your Thoughts of Others

To your subconscious mind “YOU” are the only thinker in “YOUR UNIVERSE”. It will manifest in your life whatever you impress upon it. This includes the thoughts and feelings we have toward others. Think about the implications of this.

As we think so we become, even if it is the thoughts we have about another person. This is the wisdom of the Golden Rule; “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. We could also word this as; “Think about others as you would have them think about you”.
Thinking is doing, for thought is a measurable energy force. The action of thought will create an equal or greater reaction to be manifest in our physical world.

When we adopt negative thoughts, or wish ill will on our neighbor these thoughts and wishes are impressed upon our subconscious mind. You are the Host of Your subconscious mind. The end result being we bring these things upon ourselves. These critical and resentful attitudes are very destructive to us bringing with them any number of difficulties and sickness. Some people in our lives are difficult and we don’t always agree with their behaviors but it is important to genuinely wish for them love, peace, joy, harmony, health and prosperity. We cannot condemn their ways without bringing their negativity into ourselves. It is like poison. It will have an effect on our personal physical world.

We must practice empathy. This is the ability to project our self into the heart, the mind of another enabling us to think and feel as they do, understanding they are not these behaviors but through past experience they have allowed themselves to fall into discord with the harmonic laws of this universe. We must not return their negative energy but strive instead to return good for evil. Only in this way can we truly begin to have compassion and understand one another.

In the Book of Matthew we read; “Do not judge lest you be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." (Matthew 7: 1-2)

It becomes important then not to adopt nor condemn their thoughts, feelings and behaviors but to send them thoughts of love, peace, joy, health and prosperity. In doing this we allow the process of change to begin.

The challenge this week is to say to everyone we deal with; “I love you and wish you love, peace, joy, health and prosperity all of your days”. Just say this silently to yourself genuinely projecting it toward the other person as you greet them. This will ensure you remain in a positive vibration bringing good to both of you.

Find Out About You

"We all have to learn to be ourselves and not conform to what other people think we should be. You are a very special and unique person with a gift only you can give the world. Whatever you do don’t let people or circumstances change the person you are and don’t try to change other people. Love them for what they are and trust in them for all they can become."

"All you need to do is to take the time to find out about you. Not who other people believe you are but the real you." - Thomas Robarge, Workbook For Success

Learn and Share

One of the most beautiful gifts we can give to our self and others is the gift of thought.

Learn and teach all who are willing the art of thinking for them self.

Thinking is a definite process as sure and proven as any mathematical equation.

Calm the mind let your desires be known for it is from this stillness we rise above the confusion to become all we are meant to be. From this quietude life is created.

How's Your Day Going?

Have you ever wakened in a bad mood, agitated, irritable, or feeling anxious for some unknown reason?

It is important we don’t take ownership of these feelings allowing them to dictate the kind of day we are going to have. Be aware that the emotions we feel may not be our own. We need to question these emotions of unknown origin, find out where they may have come from and discard them as quickly as possible by selecting positive uplifting thoughts. Talk to these emotions, thank them for passing by and you appreciate them but they serve you no purpose so it is time to leave…..and they will.

Until we realize nothing, (no thing), and no one can ruin our day but our self we will continue to be at the mercy of all manner of outside forces tossing us to and fro at their every whim and fancy.

Know we have the power within us to determine the kind of day we are going to have each and every day no matter our circumstance and environment. We need to realize we have the ability to set the tone for the day the night before as we are falling asleep. If we fall asleep angry, frustrated, telling ourselves we are drained, or even just telling our self we are tired, guess what? There is a good chance this is how we will awaken setting the tone for the day. I am not saying to deny the fact we feel tired. No, what I am saying is be thankful for the tired feeling for it means we have done all we could do that day but tell your self as you fall asleep; “Yes I am tired now but I am going to have an amazing restful sleep and awaken totally refreshed and ready for an awesome productive day”. This may take a little practice but it is like magic. Look yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning and tell your self you are beautiful and this day is going to be awesome because you have the power to choose your thoughts feelings and actions.
There is much to be discussed on this topic but this is sufficient for now. I shall come back to it at a future time.

Making Friends

Victory!! My shop vac, the power cord, and I are finally buddies.

This may sound unusual to many but anyone who has ever used a shop vac will know of what I speak.

I always use my shop vac to vacuum the studio. Generally it is way over due. I like to use the excuse of lack of time but deep down I think I know it is because every time it is all out war between me and the shop vac. Hauling that thing around is like struggling with the reluctant puppy on the end of a leash for the first time. The shop vac purposely runs into, gets stuck on and falls over every piece of apparatus it can possibly find. To top it all off, 90% of the time he will also let go of the hose whilst tripping over everything in sight, making it necessary to stop, go back and reinsert said hose. Making matters even more exasperating the power cord teams up with shop vac by insisting on tangling and snagging on everything imaginable. Can anyone relate?

The other day was vacuum day at the studio. I had visions of the ensuing battle but stopped short recalling the message in a little book I have read, oh, probably ½ a dozen times called As You Wish. Perhaps if I visualized a different outcome and expected a new experience I just might be able to make friends with the shop vac and gain its cooperation. So, I spent some time visualizing myself working with the shop vac, telling it how awesome and agile it was as it maneuvered successfully around all the obstacles with the power cord in tow never getting tangled or caught up on anything. As silly as this sounds, it worked like a charm. It was the best vacuuming experience I have ever had. Not one incident. It was as I wished, and expected. Think about the only thing that had changed in this situation. Same shop vac, same power cord, same studio, what was different?

I tell you this story to illustrate a principle law in relationships. If we find someone particularly difficult to get along with perhaps it is because that is what we have learned to expect from them. Maybe if we were to visualize a pleasant experience every time we had to deal with such people, adjust our attitude, things may turn out differently. In the end you will always find it is AS YOU WISH.

More on Forgiveness

If we wish to experience complete happiness, fulfillment, peace, joy, and health in our lives it is imperative we learn how to first forgive others, and then to forgive ourselves. By our thoughts we are the sole creators and possessors of our ills, not God, not our neighbor, nor any other outside influence.

James Allen gives us; Man is made or unmade by himself, in the armory of his thought he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself.

When we harbour feelings of guilt, anger, jealousy, remorse or any of the myriad of negative emotions toward others or our self we essentially reduce or cut off the supply of all that is good coming to us. We become disconnected, in disharmony with our creative source, which brings us love, peace, joy, prosperity, health and all that is good. Forgiveness is more for our well being than that of the other person. We only hurt ourselves by refusing to forgive. In essence we are punishing ourselves. Why would we want to do that?

These negative emotions set up an environment conducive to sickness and disease of all kinds. This is not theory but scientifically proven fact. These emotions create an acidic environment in the body making it a breeding ground for all manner of sickness from mental illness, to seasonal colds, to cancer.

Keep in mind forgiveness does not mean we forget for there are valuable lessons to be learned when we are wronged or we wrong someone else and correct it. What it does mean is we are able to recount the incident without attaching negative emotion to it. Until you have done this you have not truly forgiven the person or yourself.

To forgive we must reconnect with the Infinite Intelligence that is in all of us and see each person as their true self, which is love, peace and harmony. We must understand it is through ignorance and small mindedness we are done ill by. Develop compassion for those who are out of touch with their Inner Self and wish for them what we would wish for ourselves. Wish love, peace, joy, wisdom, and all the blessings of life to others and yourself but above all love for love is the only way to wizen the roots of unforgiving.

Forgiveness

"Forgiveness of others is essential to mental peace and radiant health. You must forgive everyone who has ever hurt you if you want perfect health and happiness. Forgive yourself by getting your thoughts in harmony with Devine law and order. You cannot forgive yourself completely until you have forgiven others first. To refuse to forgive yourself is nothing more or less than spiritual pride or ignorance." - Joseph Murphy, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind

My thoughts on the importance of forgiveness next week.

What’s Your Motive?

It is unwise to pursue the favour of another or strive for status.

When we do these things we risk losing self and becoming what others think we should be doing, what others think we should do.

If we gain favour or status it is always a struggle to maintain with the risk of losing it. This creates unnatural stress leading to all manner of disease.

It is important to check our motives. Are we following our Inner Guidance toward our worthy ideals, trying to gain the favour of others or seeking to please ego striving for a certain level of status?

Spend some quiet time each day to discover the motives behind your actions to be sure they are serving your Inner Self. Always work toward becoming YOU.

The Art of Allowing

Just as we plant a seed in fertile ground, patiently water and nurture it, so too must we let our desires be known, water and nurture them through right thinking and allow them to transform without force or coercion into the beautiful flower we imagined.

In the absence of urgency relax and enjoy each moment for what it offers. The rose comes into full bloom in its own time.

Unhurried Life
How can a man’s life keep its course
If he will not let it flow?
Those who flow as life flows know
They need no other force:
They feel no wear, they feel no tear,
They need no mending, no repair.

Empty to be Full

It is in our emptiness we find the fullness of life.

Bruce Lee used to demonstrate to his hopeful new students how, unless they emptied themselves of any previous knowledge or preconceived ideas, it would be impossible for them to learn anything from him. He would demonstrate this by showing them a glass of water full to the brim and then try to add more to it. The new water of course spilled over the sides and could not be absorbed.

In a similar way our minds may become so cluttered with egotistical preprogrammed garbage it becomes impossible for our Creative Force to be heard. When we become focused on the appearance of things, allowing the five senses to be our guide, we risk losing all that is good heading our way. Allowing our senses to be our guide we become driven by the physical appearance of things around us seeing lack, limitation and labels. This creates a competitive urgency to accumulate, never leading to fulfillment, but to frustration and fear. This mind set is responsible for all kinds of disease and abominations. This mind set creates a unidirectional flow of life inward which is inharmonious with the Universal Law of Receiving. To get we must give. The more we are able to give the more we can receive. Life is meant to be multidirectional, a continual flow out to in. A principle of life is to flow outward for the greater expansion and benefit of all. As we share our gifts we create room for more growth, more sharing.

At our center is a space of nonbeing. This placeless place, this void is not truly a void. It is Life itself, Creative Energy from which knowingly or unknowingly we create our physical world. Anything we impress by thought upon this Creative Energy, convincing it to be true, will manifest itself on the physical plane. Our Creative Force contains all the answers we seek but will only reveal and manifest the TRUE desires of the heart, not fanciful whims and wishes.

If we wish to tap into our Creative Force taking advantage of the alimentation residing there and play an active role in the development of our life it is necessary to relax into a quiescent state. Quiet the mind emptying it of as much of the mental distortion as possible by getting into a sleepy state where there is no conflict between the objective and subjective mind. In this state of quietude with joy and thanksgiving make your requests known to this Creative Power which is in all of us. Once our requests have been made we must let them go, be thankful for all we have and all that is coming to us and TRUST our Creative Force to bring us the answers we seek. We cannot force the answers to come by thinking or trying harder. We must relax, let go and allow them to come. Our part is by faith to be aware of when they are presented and be prepared to act upon them.

It is by this emptying of self we allow our Creative Force to bring us the fullness of life we seek.

As the potter must keep his hands on the clay and maintain its suppleness so must we keep our thoughts upon our worthy intentions.

Overcoming Setbacks Pt. II

Realize our subconscious is our Creative Force. Within it are the answers we seek and we find only that which we seek with our heart. Read that last sentence again, slowly.

Our subconscious contains all knowledge. It created and sustains us. It keeps our heart, lungs, and digestion going. It heals our wounds without us giving thought to these things. It is also responsible for and can correct any chemical imbalances.

Our subconscious is like a rich pool of resources both negative and positive from which through our thoughts, (whether knowingly or unknowingly), we design our lives. Thomas Troward referred to it as Devine Operation when he wrote:

“My mind is a center of Divine operation. The Divine operation is always for expansion and fuller expression and this means the production of something beyond what has gone before, something entirely new, not included in past experience, though proceeding out of it by an orderly sequence of growth. Therefore, since the Divine cannot change it’s inherent nature, it must operate in the same manner in me; consequently in my special world, of which I am the center, it will move forward to produce new conditions, always in advance of any that have gone before.”

James Allen gave us:

Mind is the master power that molds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes
The tool of thought, and shaping what he wills,
Brings forth a thousand joys, or a thousand ills;
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass;
Environment is but his looking glass.

The Power is within each of us to overcome all self-destruction and realize all we desire. This Power does not favor one over another. We must harmonize with this Devine Operation for it is said; “where two or more are in agreement, (conscious and subconscious mind), it will be done.”

Overcoming Setbacks Pt I.

I had an interesting conversation the other day about controlling cravings and emotions and why we seem to sabotage ourselves, often just as we reach or come close to reaching our goals. Most often this is caused by chemical imbalances in the body.

As we know NATURE is all about balance. When something is out of balance we seemingly automatically crave foods or habits that bring us back in line. Most women are very familiar with this problem for each month when blood sugar levels drop and serotonin production is low their body will develop cravings for certain foods. Much beyond this though there is a power within us that holds an image of what it has been programmed to believe we are or what we represent and it continually makes corrections to maintain this image should we drift too far off course.

Contained within our Creative Force, (subconscious mind), are the blueprints for whom and what we imagine ourselves to be. Many of these blueprints were programmed while we were young and are actually other people’s ideas of who we are and what we should believe. Most of these blueprints are outdated and no longer serve us but are still running the show unbeknownst to us. These blueprints act like a cybernetic device and when we drift too far off course, (accomplishing our goal), our subconscious says; “Hey this is not who I know me to be. I’d better make some corrections to bring me back on course.” Depending on what your goal is this can be anything from binging to sabotaging a relationship or more debt. Things may seem pretty bleak at this point, for what chance do we have of advancing if we have all these programmed blueprints holding us back?

The good news is we have choice and what has been programmed can be overwritten and deleted. Awareness is the key. Be on the lookout for when these urges rise up and don’t fight them. What we resist persists. We must allow them to surface without dominating us. Talk to them and acknowledge their existence. Thank them for their service in the past but they are no longer required and of no purpose in our life any more. Tell them they no longer have any power over you and it is time for them to leave for they are being replaced by a NEW and BETTER plan. For many I am sure this sounds like a lot of hocus-pocus but I assure you it works.

Several times each day get yourself into a sleepy state when the subconscious is MOST receptive to suggestion and let it know what your goals are. Ask it to reveal any roadblocks, (preprogramming), that need to be removed in order to realize these goals then let go, relax and let your subconscious accomplish your requests.

Purpose

We have but one purpose in life. That is to love and serve one another without judgment advancing life for all.

By tending to the needs of others all our needs will be fulfilled.

Giving is one of the prerequisites to receiving.

I can hear the cries of disagreement now. But, before you click me away as delusional allow me the opportunity to explain.

I am not speaking of self-sacrifice here, allowing others to dominate at the expense of our own desires and what we were designed to accomplish in this phase of our being. No, I am speaking of serving others within our goals and aspirations for this is where we will excel, assisting mankind while realizing fulfillment.

Our challenge this week is to focus on the above passage as we go about our daily interactions with others. Be aware of whether your service is taking you away from your intentions or toward them.

What steps can we take to ensure we are continually serving others within our intentions?
How might this attitude result in a positive influence?

Tough Times

In these supposedly tough economic times it is important to remind ourselves we are the makers of our environment and circumstance both globally and individually. As much as “they” would like us to believe there are fewer resources, lack and limitation, and try to make us focus on the appearance of things rather than the Truth, for those who understand where all things come from and the Laws of this universe, we know it is not so. The Truth being, there is no lack of anything for those who understand the Spiritual Supply, from which the visible comes, is never depleted. Spiritual Supply is with us always and will yield according to our demand on it. It cannot be affected by our ignorant talk of lack and limitation; only we are the ones affected and it is our thought that will determine how we are affected.

This unfailing Resource is always ready and willing to give. This is a Law and It has no choice. It will, It must prosper you if you continually focus your thoughts on ideas of plenty, prosperity, health love and joy. These things will begin to manifest themselves in your life. Be sure to be thankful for all you have at this moment and make the best use of it and through right thinking more will be added.

Our failure to meet our demands on life is not a failure of resources for there will never be a lack of resources. It is a failure from within us, a lack of understanding and application of the Law.
No matter what our dilemma the Law can resolve it. We must adjust our thinking to work with the Law.

Work Efficiently not Harder

I am very grateful for the opportunities that await me and I attract through right thinking. It is important for us to understand that it is not hard work which produces opportunity leading to success but right thinking and the doing of things in an efficient manner. There are those who seemingly work very hard but to no avail and others who seem to do very little yet prosper in every way. I know of a person who, in their chosen profession, has the potential to easily make over one million dollars each year. This person works very hard many hours each day yet gets nowhere. This person is scattered, their focus is all over the place chasing opportunity after opportunity but always creating and trying to solve some crisis. This person is totally driven by their external environment and circumstance. To those who function on the competitive plane more opportunity and success would appear to come out of working harder but this is not so. Life is about balance not hours of hard work. We are to do all we can each day in an efficient manner but not try to do a weeks work in one day. No man on his death bed ever wishes he had spent more time on hard work and making money.

It is true awareness is key and opportunity must be acted on when presented. It is important not to worry about or chase missed opportunity for it often means another better opportunity is down the road for those who focus on doing all they can in an efficient manner. There is no lack of opportunity for opportunity is always there and attracted from within by the right thinking of those who operate on the creative plane.

On focus – It is important not to focus in too many directions at one time or we risk doing things in an inefficient manner and the opportunity is lost. Just as the magnifying glass is only efficient in the opportunity of creating fire when totally focused on one point so each of our tasks must be completed before moving to the next. This is not to say you cannot focus on more than one thing each day. Remember life is about balance and it is right to focus on the different aspects of your life each day in its time. This is where awareness is key.

With a Little Faith...

This is a true story about a dog called Faith...read on...picture will come up shortly. After reading the story go to Faith's official website: www.faiththedog.net/

I met this dog in the airport on one of my trips back
East. They were on their way to Chicago for the
Oprah show. He is very friendly and sweet, and
draws huge crowds everywhere he goes. There was
a huge crowd following him as he walked to the
waiting area for the plane we were going to
board, it got my attention because flashes were
going off, I thought it must be a
celebrity

This is 'Faith'

This dog was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2002.
He was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs
and 1 abnormal front leg which needed to be
amputated. He of course could not walk when he
was born. Even his mother did not want
him.

His first owner also did not think that he could
survive. Therefore, he was thinking of 'putting
him to sleep'.

By this time, his present owner, Jude Stringfellow, met
him and wanted to take care of him.

She is determined to teach and train this dog to walk
by himself. Therefore she named him
'Faith' .

In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfing board
to let him feel the movements. Later she used
peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and reward
for him to stand up and jump around. Even the
other dog at home also helped to encourage him
to walk. Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a
miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind
legs and jumped to move forward. After further
training in the snow, he now can walk like a
human being.

Faith loves to walk around now. No matter where he
goes, he just attracts all the people around
him.
He is now becoming famous on the international scene.
He has appeared on various newspapers and TV
shows.
There is even one book entitled 'With a little faith'
being published about him. He was even
considered to appear in one of Harry Potter
movies.
His present owner Jude Stringfellew has given up her
teaching post and plans to take him around the
world to preach that even without a perfect
body, one can have a perfect soul'.

In life there are always undesirable things.
Perhaps one will feel better if one changes the
point of view from another direction.
I hope this message will bring fresh new ways of
thinking to everyone and that everyone can
appreciate and be thankful for each beautiful
day that follows. Faith is the continual
demonstration of the Strength of Life

Believing is Seeing

What are your core beliefs? Where do they come from and why do you accept them as truth?

Spend some time discovering just what your core beliefs are about your circumstance and environment, your core beliefs about people, why you believe what you do about certain situations, programs or institutions. Is it reality or simply your perspective? Is it someone else’s experience you accepted as truth, or something you were taught to be true without question as a child?

Take time to challenge and test your core beliefs. Discover why you believe what you do and test it to see if it holds true or is it merely an opinion, yours or someone else’s. Your core beliefs shape your outer world. Change what you believe about a certain aspect of your life and you will change your results in the physical world. This is the law. Believing is seeing.

Importance of Serving

By design we were created for service. To serve one another, expanding and creating a better quality of life for all. Like a lake we must both receive and give life to flourish. If we live a selfish life taking only for ourselves we become like the Dead Sea which can sustain no life. Water only flows into the Dead Sea, not out. Therefore the Dead Sea is stagnant just as we will become. In order to live we must give. True service is giving without the expectation of receiving.

However, in our universe, by design, it is impossible to give without receiving back in some form.

It is important to ask ourselves each day; in what small way can I be of service today?

To find out how serving shapes your blueprint, email me at premierblueprints@gmail.com.

Gardening

Our thoughts are the seeds we plant in the garden of our mind and by continually involving ourselves in these thoughts, whether by conversation, reading, entertainment or other means; we are cultivating and nurturing these thoughts. They will be our harvest.

Why is it in our physical world we have no trouble understanding that if we plant carrots we harvest carrots, if plant broccoli we harvest broccoli and if we plant rag weed we harvest rag weed, but in the spirit or mind world we can’t seem to understand that if we plant thoughts of lack and limitation, sickness and depression it is impossible to reap prosperity, good health and abundance? This is a universal law. It plays no favorites and is true for the individual as well as society at large. The quality of our crop will be determined by how well we nurture and care for it whether positive or negative.

It is so important to guard our thoughts becoming aware of our behaviors if we wish to advance our life toward prosperity, love, joy and health.

Spend this week becoming aware of how often you become involved in negative conversation, listening to music containing a negative message, reading negative material and any other activity or environment which dictates negativity. How might we counteract all this pollution not allowing these seeds to take root in our subconscious mind?

In closing, I was stirred to reread The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind in which Dr. Joseph Murphy writes: All your experiences, events, conditions, and acts are produced by your subconscious mind in reaction to your thoughts. Remember, it is not the thing believed in, but the belief in your own mind that brings about the result.

Balance

All of creation is about balance and purpose, action and reaction.

Understanding this, spirit and ego have purpose and were designed to harmonize working together in perfect balance for universal benefit.

Ego is that part of us which is always trying to dominate. It is insatiable, always demanding more, leaving us forever wanting, feeling incomplete.

Spirit is always content realizing all is perfect for the moment in time and that more will be given as we are prepared to receive, leaving us relaxed, happy and fulfilled.

Ego represents the competitive physical world of lack and limitation, win at all cost and bigger is better. It is stressful leading to disease, (dis ease). Contentment and happiness can only be realized temporarily if at all. It is centered on the appearance of things rather than the Truth.

Spirit represents the creative world where it is understood all things will come to us in their perfect time as we are able and prepared to receive them. Spirit focuses on the Truth, that there is no lack of anything. Things only become nonexistent as they are no longer needed. If more is needed it will be created or a better way realized. Spirit never need take from another for he can have his own or something better. There is always a Divine surplus.

The trouble man has had through the centuries and the cause of all abominations is his struggle with ego.

Awareness is the first step we must take to create balance between ego and spirit. Over the next few days become aware of how many times and different ways ego tries to dominate. How might we go about creating balance? When in balance, what purpose does ego serve? What purpose does spirit serve? It is important to know and understand these things.

Energy Flows Where Attention Goes

If we spend most of our time focusing on the negative aspects of a relationship or situation, guess what? We get more negativity. This is a universal law and will always hold true. The quickest way to destroy a relationship is too continually focus on what is wrong with it. It is equally true for any situation. It will continue to deteriorate as long as we continue to focus on what’s bad about the situation.

Nothing changes until our focus changes. A situation miraculously improves or solves itself as soon as we find something good about it and begin to focus in that direction. Relationships begin to mend once our focus is on the good points. You may say there are no good points. The universal law of polarity states that for every negative there is an equal or greater positive. Negatives and positives in a relationship are one and the same. They are just at opposite ends of the spectrum. We choose in which direction we wish to proceed by our thought choices and actions.

This being said take some time this week and be aware of where your focus is in your day-to-day relationships and situations. If you wish to improve a relationship or particular situation, seek out some good to focus on and see if it doesn’t make a difference, and not a half hearted effort with the thought that this will never make a difference because if that is what you think that is what you will get. Energy flows where attention goes.

Reaching the Summit

If we expect to reach the pinnacle of our sport or art it is essential to continually assess our thoughts feelings and actions to determine whether or not they match our current blue prints which are responsible for the results we are experiencing at this point in our career. Does the life style we are presently leading contribute 100% toward our goal or is it more like 70% or even less? I would say that if it is less than 90% then the reality is we really are not very serious. It is more wishful thinking and we are not willing to discipline our self, sacrificing certain vices in order to attain what we think would be nice to be, do, or have.

Our bodies are designed to function optimally when provided with the proper nutrients and recovery time. If our current life style does not support this it will be impossible to ever realize our full potential. It is important to realize everything we put into our body and mind either strengthens or weakens it. The body can take an amazing amount of abuse and still perform at a fairly high level but the law states we reap that which we sow. We may even reach the top for a brief period of time but this is a universal law and there is no cheating it. If we practice habits of abuse the body will break down. It will be weakened.

Some fool themselves thinking a few weeks or a month of proper nutrition and training will suffice. This is not so. The body responds best to a consistent systematic quotidian regime containing all the components of training. Our weakest component will determine our degree of success therefore it is important we have a thorough understanding of each component and how to develop them.

Another law, the Law of Receiving is more than willing to deliver all we desire but will only give in proportion to what we are able, through preparation, to receive.

Victory in Defeat

The measure of our loss will be determined by our knowledge gained and implemented.

There is almost always a certain amount of pain and discomfort associated with growth.

In nature we think of birthing, growing pains of the infant and adolescent. In life lessons we think of relationships and loss, whether it be loss of a loved one or defeat in a competition.

When speaking of competition, in Truth there is no winning or losing. If we don’t experience the result we were hoping for it merely means we were ill prepared for our endeavor and there is more to be learned, things added or removed as we hone our skills.

Winning and losing only exists on the ego based competitive plane where winners are exalted, some even in ineffable regard, and losers made to feel inferior.

On the creative plane competition serves to test our skills and advance our interest with an attitude that all will learn and benefit from the experience. “Win or lose,” spirits remain high as knowledge is gained and new goals are implemented, building on what has gone before, removing that which moves us away from our purpose replacing it with that, which moves us toward our purpose. The only loser is he who gains no knowledge from his endeavor and therefore remains unchanged or sinks to lower levels.

There is an inner voice, which knows our worthy intention
Let go of self and heed Its words
For this is the Source of all creation
For those who choose to listen
Releasing in subjection
This inner voice will bring us to perfection
There is no winning, there is no losing
On our path of co-creation
Only lessons learned, knowledge gained
Toward our final destination.

For those who have won the battle this day – be gracious in your victory thanking your opponent for all he has taught you.

For those who have lost this day – maintain dignity-keeping spirits high for you have not lost but gained a wealth of knowledge on which to build. It has been a necessary step in preparation for what lays ahead. Understand there is purpose in “winning and losing.”

Self-Confidence

The first step in building self-confidence is to believe in that Infinite Power within you.

The second step is to commune regularly with this Almighty Presence.

When the thought I can’t do this comes to you, mentally affirm: But the Devine Presence can.

"It’s infinitely powerful and nothing can oppose or challenge it. It’s all-mighty." - Self-Confidence and Self-Esteem., Dr. Joseph Murphy

Praise

If we are not yet experiencing the results we wish to manifest in our physical world it may be we are missing a very key component. In fact this component when genuinely implemented has the power to open the flood gates to our worthy desires. The component of which I speak is praise.
So what is praise and why is it so important?

Praise is to express admiration of something or laud the glory of, (God), something, to extol.
When we praise our Devine Source it brings us into harmony with Devine Operation, the source of all things. Praise keeps us in a constant state of positive vibration that is imperative to receiving that which we wish to manifest. The more imbued we are with praise the closer we are drawn to our Source.

God does not need our praise for he is the same always and forever more. God does not play favorites based on who praises more or more genuinely. God just is and is always for expansion and greater expression for all. No, God, The Law, does not need praise. Praise is for our benefit. When we are in a state of continual praise, not just heady or lip service, but genuine from the heart praise for all our past, present, and yet to come experiences it creates within us an awareness, a conscious connection to the Source of Power from which we came and are a part of. It raises our consciousness to a higher realm broadening the path of receiving and allowing us the opportunity to co-create, bringing us new thoughts, desires and ideas. If faith is the engine then praise is the fuel that keeps the engine running. Praise is action and faith without action is simply wishful thinking. All of nature is designed by law to respond positively to praise. Genuine praise will lift the spirits of all bringing hope, gladness and love. Praise begins on the spiritual level but is just as effective on the physical plain. Notice how when one is genuinely praised they automatically respond positively through glowing happiness desiring to better them self infecting their environment with this positive vibration. There is documented scientific evidence that even plant life responds to praise and the positive environment it creates.

There is much to be said about praise. It is easy to give praise when things are going well. It is equally important to give praise in seemingly difficult times for these are the times of growth and learning. In these times give praise for all you have and more will be added unto you. This is the Law.

Building Explosive Power

A key component to building explosive power is teaching all your muscle groups to work synergistically, cooperating and firing at the proper time to ensure maximum transfer of energy to it’s final destination, whether that be a punch, a kick, a successful vault or jump.

Here is an excellent exercise you may want to incorporate into your training regime.

Drop Squat with Jump

You will want to practice the drop squat portion of the exercise with a light 35 or 45 lbs bar, (or lighter depending on your strength), until you get the feel for it before adding the jump.

Begin by placing the bar in front of you on the floor. Take a wide stance, (6 inches wider than shoulder width), and squat down sitting on your heels keeping your back as straight as possible and head up. Grasp the bar using a wide grip, (outside the legs). Now as you stand up clean the bar to the shoulders just under your chin. Be sure to drive from your heels up through your hips keeping your back as straight as possible and head up. From this position do not press the bar overhead but maintain it at your standing shoulder level as you drop your body down to a squat position sitting on your heels, back straight, head up and bar now overhead. It is extremely important you do not press the bar overhead, rather drop your body down. From this position you will stand back up keeping the bar overhead. Once standing lower the bar back to the floor and repeat.

Once you have mastered the technique and feel comfortable with it place a box, (6” to 8” high x 40” long x 24” deep), just in front of the bar. Now perform the same technique however this time explode out of the bottom position jumping onto the box. Remember to drive from your heels up through the hips maintaining a straight back with head up all the while keeping the bar overhead. Step off the box and repeat. Start with just five or six repetitions. You may add weight to the bar or use a higher box as you get stronger. Three or four sets with a 1 ½ to 2 minutes rest in between will be adequate.

Be aware that any physical activity brings with it the risk of injury. If in doubt find a competent trainer well versed in this technique to assist you. Perform at your own risk.

Study & Implement

It is all well and good to read about the laws that govern our universe. To study this stuff about positive thinking and the power of thought, how by controlling what we think about we are able to create the life we wish to have. It’s great to nod and agree oh that’s nice. That makes sense. But do we really practice it? Or, when a situation arises do we let our old programming automatically kick in and take control?

In order to make this stuff work for us we must take action and apply it each and every day even if it is just in some small way at first. Read articles and books many times over to discover what is there for us and implement it into our lives by conscious practice over and over. It is imperative we create an awareness allowing us to increase the gap time between stimulus and response. This can only be done through persistent practice and implementation. We must begin to think and do differently if we expect the results we so desire and deserve to have.

I suspect many of us spend more time watching useless television “programming” and playing video games than we do developing our minds and creating what we would like out of life. Notice the programming in quotations for that is exactly what it does. Learning to think for our self is the hardest undertaking we will ever take on but take it on and be persistent is what we must do if we wish to create the life of our dreams.

Fruits of Our Labor

We are the fruits of our labor.

What is the true meaning of this statement?

Most often we think of our labor as our physical labor. If we work the land or perform our jobs well we get rewarded with a great crop or our paycheck and possibly even a bonus. Although this statement certainly applies in this situation I don’t believe this was its intention.

Have you ever considered our thoughts as labor? Thinking for our self is the hardest work we will ever undertake. Very few actually know how to think. I am not talking about intellectual or surface thinking that is commonplace. I am talking about deep penetrating thought that comes from strong conviction and has the ability to change and govern life. These are the deep thoughts that our desires and motives mold. They create who and what we experience. They reveal our Truth. This is the labor of which this statement speaks. We become what we think about or have been programmed to think about most of the time.

Let’s create an analogy to better understand this; let’s take an apple tree and plant it in beautiful fertile soil with excellent sunlight, the perfect amount of rain and all the necessary components in perfect balance for optimal growth. What quality of fruit and nourishment do you think we would enjoy from this tree. Would it not enrich all the lives of those around it that chose to partake?

Now let’s take that same apple tree but replace just one of the components necessary for growth with its opposite, (which could be lack of or excess). Even though all the other components remain the same, excellent sunlight, plenty of rain and the like, this tree will never realize its potential and possibly not even produce any fruit at all. It may become sickly and stunted depending on the severity of lack or excess.

Our thoughts represent the components necessary for, and are responsible for, optimal growth or lack of growth. The perfect soil, excellent sunlight and perfect amount of rain represent thoughts of love, prosperity, peace, joy, abundance etc. We will reap the rewards of the labor of our thoughts creating the life we desire or moving us away from it. If we remove any one of these and replace it with thoughts of lack, limitation, jealousy, hatred, selfishness, pessimism, war, pestilence, we will limit our ability to create the life we desire in proportion to the severity of our thoughts and reap the fruits of this kind of thinking.

It is imperative we guard our thoughts. Challenge their origin and destination. If they do not support the life we wish to create they must be discarded immediately and replaced with thoughts that move us in the direction we desire.

What Demands are You Creating?

Often times when things are not going as we feel they should or are not developing as we had planned many of us lay blame on outside sources. We do this in error not realizing this will only bring us more of what we don’t want, leading to frustration, feeling sorry for ourselves, depression and disease (dis ease). Many go so far as to blame God, the Devine Source for their misgivings not realizing this will have the affect of cutting off all supply of good, for Devine Intelligence is the source of all things and will supply us with that which we put forth by our thoughts and energy whether positive or negative.

If our desire is to raise our quality of life in any area it is important to raise our level of consciousness in the particular area as well as in general focusing only on that which we wish to manifest. We must place our demands before the supply can become evident.

In his book Working with the Law, Raymond Holliwell states; “where there is no demand there will be no evidence of supply.”

If in our present state of consciousness we are unable to imagine a thing or result it will be impossible to attain it. We must enlarge our minds to conceive a necessity for the thing or result before it can be manifest.

The seeming dearth of things therefore is not God’s doing but brought on by man’s inability to raise his thoughts demanding a necessity.

"A man’s life consists not in the abundance of the things he possesses, but in the consciousness of that which he has. Man possesses the whole world and all its wealth, yet is only able to enjoy what his consciousness permits him to discern." - Raymond Holliwell

Road to Success Pt. 3

The final step is ACHIEVE...

Achieve: Achievement is the physical fruition of thought whether good or bad. The subconscious mind will bring to maturation through opportunity and circumstance, any seed we plant and nurture by our persistent thought of how we perceive that seed should grow provided we act on what is presented for without action there is no movement.

If our goal were to reach the pinnacle of a mountain top it would be necessary to have a flexible game plan, prepare the gear and food essential for the climb, and an unwavering, persistent desire to complete the task no matter what.

“Having conceived of our purpose, we should mentally make out a straight pathway to its achievement, looking neither to the right nor left.” - James Allen

To maintain our successful journey it is imperative our thoughts remain focused on our goal, not the obstacles or seeming setbacks we may face.

As Dr. Maxwell Maltz stated; “We need to be aware of the negatives so we can steer clear of them. A golfer needs to know where the bunkers are – but he doesn’t think continuously about the bunker – where he doesn’t want to go. His mind “glances” at the bunker, but he DWELLS upon the green.”

Preparedness, both mental and physical is an essential step to realizing our worthy ideals. We cannot wish our way up the mountain. No one is going to come along, pick us up, and whisk us to the top. It is our responsibility for the preparation and execution as the way is provided. Our achievement will always be according to our preparedness, our ability to receive that which is forthcoming.

What we label as delays or setbacks become nothing more than an indication there is more to learn, more to prepare for our inevitable victory. We alone are responsible for our failures and our victories. As the saying goes, the dream never dies, just the Dreamer. It is only through improper use of the mind that we miss our mark. Devine operation plays no favorites. There are very specific universal laws to success and achievement. They are as sure as any mathematical equation. The closer we adhere to these universal laws the more we will be capable of achieving.

Road to Succes Pt. 2

***Note - This posting is very in-depth and will require three posts to complete. Please Check Wednesday for Part and return Monday for Part 3. Email me if you have any questions and I may be able to address them within this series.***

Step two on the Road to Success is to PERSIST....

Persist: If you look up the definition for persist you will find that to persist is to continue firmly or steadily when faced with opposition; to prevail or endure.

Many of us mistakenly relate this to the physical world interpreting this to mean when we face physical opposition to what we are trying to achieve we must force the issue by trying harder and continuing stubbornly on in the direction we were headed. This interpretation of persist usually leads to frustration and failure. It is akin to trying to experience water by grasping it in our hand. The harder we squeeze the more water eludes our attempts. We must work with the laws of water and relax our hand in the water to achieve the experience.

To realize the success we seek to achieve it is essential we remain flexible, able to recognize, act upon and change our game plan when the opportunity presents itself. Persistence is not a physical thing. It is mental. Persistence begins in our mind. The physical actions leading to our results are the effects of our persistence or focus of thought in our mind. To be persistent then is to hold firmly in our mind that thought which will lead us to our worthy ideal no matter our current circumstance or environment. It is in a relaxed state we hold our thoughts. Content in our present circumstance, confident in the laws of our universe to bring about that which we truly desire knowing that once a thought seed is planted in our subconscious mind it has no choice but to bring it to fruition in our physical world. There is no worry or doubt for we understand these lead to frustration and anxiety cutting off our supply of good.

Persistence of THOUGHT and FAITH are what is required to ACHIEVE...

Road to Success Pt. 1

***Note - This posting is very in-depth and will require three posts to complete. Please return Friday for Part 2 and Monday for Part 3. Email me if you have any questions and I may be able to address them within this series.***

The first step on the Road to Success is to BELIEVE...

Believe: To truly believe something is to accept a thought, either ours or one we have accepted from an outside source, as truth allowing it to be programmed into our subconscious mind to be used as a blue print against all similar or contrary beliefs or circumstances in regards to the something.

A belief then is nothing more than a thought which creates the blueprint in our subconscious mind of what we perceive to be true.

Many of these blueprints which we hold to be true are not our own. They are the thoughts of others, whether individual or societal, we accepted as truth when we were young, trusting our parents, other figures of authority and media, to do our thinking for us without challenge. These thoughts filtered into our subconscious mind becoming habits guiding our decisions which lead to our actions producing the results we experience in our physical world whether good, bad, or indifferent. Many of these beliefs are outdated and no longer serve our purpose but are still creating the results we experience. Our subconscious mind is like the rudder of a ship and accepts and acts on whatever instructions it receives. It has no other choice. It is our conscious mind we use to determine what we will allow into the subconscious mind.

With this understanding of how our physical world is created by our thoughts from the inside out we can discern the importance of challenging all information we receive through our five senses to see if it supports our worthy ideal. It is equally important to challenge our old programming and replace any blueprints which do not support our goals. It is what we hold to be true in our hearts, our deep inner thoughts that determine our actions and our actions are responsible for what we experience in our physical world.

Study this material and be prepared to "Persist" on Friday.

Ex-Reluctant Learning

***Note - This posting was not written by Marshall***

Hope everything is well with everyone. My name is Matt Page and, as you can probably guess, I am related to the regular author of Premier Blueprints. I am also the webmaster and have the responsibilities of making sure Marshall's post are up on time and organized.

What I wanted to do today was to let you in on a little secret.

Through each post, you are all slowly beginning to learn and understand Marshall's philosophy and outlook on life. From the comments and emails he has received from friends and strangers alike it is obvious that his powerfully positive message is truly reaching out to others and offering them a new perspective on what life CAN be if you choose to make it so.

Fortunately for me I've had this positive influence throughout my entire life. Unfortunately I haven't always listened. Now I'm not going to tell you that I was a troubled kid, who didn't perform well at school, was always in some sort of mess and was mixed up with the wrong people because all of that would be a lie.

What I will tell you is that Marshall has been writing and evolving his life philosophy for a long time. He has been writing and sending me these powerful essays for last several years. The secret is I never read them, or at best glanced through in case he was going to quiz me about it next time I saw him. It wasn't until this website was created that I truly discovered the inspirational genius in Marshall's way of living.

Being the Webmaster of this site, I'm also responsible for making sure all the formatting and spelling is perfect. This task means I have to read through every post before it shows up on the main page. It is actually a task I look forward to every Monday, Wednesday and Friday because every time I am surprised how I can take small piece of truth from each post and immediately apply it too my current situation. Having to read it has made me LOVE to read it!

I believe that Marshall's message has the power to touch and change the lives of millions but I bet if you were to ask him if he was happy that his son is finally, ACTUALLY reading his work he would tell you this website has been worth it. I know it has been blessing in disguise for me.

Hopefully you know someone else who could benefit from Marshall's message the way you and I have.

Let's share the secret!

Thought & Society

Negative thoughts are no more powerful than positive thoughts.

It’s just that as a society we are programmed to focus on the negative bringing us a majority of negative results. Societal memes control much of our thought process. Our situation as a whole becomes pejorative as we knowingly or unknowingly allow this programming to continue.

It is time we become aware of the negative influence forced upon us through media, theater, music and the like and the results experienced as a society because of it. No longer can we remain quiescent. As individuals it is our duty to think for our self. Focus on the positive life we desire for ONE and ALL. When each one begins to think in this way on a quotidian basis, challenging the negative messages on the appearance of things, focusing our thoughts on abundance and prosperity for all, the masses will be affected bringing positive lasting results as a society.

We must have a thought plan which when believed and persisted upon will begin to reveal answers which have been recondite to societal problems.

Perception or Deception?

It is not the reality of our circumstance or environment we react to but the way our minds PERCEIVE it to be true. The way we do that is to compare with what we have accepted as truth and if it doesn’t fit within our blueprint we dismiss it as false or of no benefit to us.

When we become attached to our beliefs we become rigid, inflexible, severely limiting our potential for growth and new experiences. Once we become aware of how our blueprints were programmed into the subconscious mind it becomes possible to DETACH from limiting beliefs, becoming the witness, giving us the ability to challenge new thoughts and circumstances without judging them against preconceived blueprints which may or may not be our own. We begin to see opportunity where before we were confined to the limitations of preset blueprints.

Dr. Amen in his book Making A Good Brain Great gives the example of two salesmen who go to Africa. One salesman returns to report there is no market there. Nobody wears shoes. His short sited perception has clouded his imagination not allowing him to see the vast opportunity here. The second salesman returns and can hardly contain his exuberance. He reports the market is endless; no one even has a pair of shoes yet. The market is wide open!! His imagination, not being confined to the appearance of things, is going crazy with possibilities. Just because no one has shoes does not mean they don’t want them. Present the shoes and let them make the decision.

The truth is rarely seen in the appearance of things. It is important we take the time to challenge our perceptions of people and circumstance to uncover what is truly being presented. Is our preconceived blueprint accurate or is it outdated? Is our blueprint our own or is it someone else’s we accepted without question? AWARENESS is key here. Awareness affords time to lengthen between stimulus and response allowing us to see how things may be of benefit for attaining our goals.

Spirit/Physical

Understand that Spirit and Physical are the same yet different.

They are at opposite ends of a continuum for Spirit gives birth to the Physical.

We are Spirit in a Physical world.

Seeing the Physical we remain bound.

Seeing the Spirit we are free, limitless.

Take time in quiet meditation on these words this week. There is much to be discovered here.

Lesson Learned

Wednesday was an interesting day for Tuesday I caught my old self coming through when I chose to negatively judge, (label), a former client. Something I no longer do.

The story goes like this.

In my studio I have two sets of dumbbells. One set of my 15lbs dumbbells has been on loan to this former client for some 2 ½ years now. The fault lies with me for not pursuing the matter and going to get them.

Enter my recent client of about three months. She has a beautiful energetic young spirit full of exuberance and life. She stated she nearly brought a pair of 15lbs dumbbells for me to which I would normally reply; “Thank you. That would be awesome.” Instead, before I caught myself, I went off on this rant about my 15lbs dumbbells, “supposedly,” on loan and proceeded to say it was better I didn’t pursue the matter and leave well enough alone because of certain characteristics the person held. At this point awareness kicked in but the damage had been done. Using my old perception of this person’s characteristic was an excuse masquerading as the reason for not pursuing the matter. The more I tried to explain, (justify), my judgment the more hypocritical I felt seemingly making matters worse for all. I had introduced a negative energy that could possibly dampen the spirit of another, erecting a caution sign in our relationship.

As in every case there is an equal positive opportunity to learn from this. By taking steps to adjust and sharpen my awareness I am able to better avoid such instances in the future realizing we can never let our guard down for ego is an ever present predator. Perhaps through discussion and understanding my client and I will gain a better understanding leading to a stronger relationship.

It has been an interesting exercise and I am thankful for the experience. My awareness of motivation and thought has evolved to a higher plane allowing me a deeper level of service. It also reminded me that my journey is continual and that I must be vigilant not to fall back into old attitudes, emotions and actions.

Loving Your Neighbor

It is by focusing upon the Divine Intelligence which is of the same source in all of us, that we will be able to unconditionally love one another without judgment.

I am sure most have heard the saying; “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” How can we possibly follow such advice and why, when we know the guy down the road is abusive, the woman next door gets into everybody’s business and constantly reminds us she is better than we are or the person at work who is always miserable, complaining about everything? It is important to note here that we are not required to love what others do, their behaviors, but to love “them.” We are to love the Devine Intelligence, Spirit, which is in all of us. In this instance love is not an emotion but a reverence for Devine Intelligence.

Spirit does not change. We are not our physical body, behaviors, our job, or the things we accumulate. All these things change and eventually pass on. We are commanded to love Spirit which is unchanging and will last forever. If we are to believe all things come from one source it stands to reason that through Spirit we are all connected for the Spirit in one came from the same source as the Spirit in another. We are all cut from the same Spiritual cloth so to speak. Spirit is always for love, peace, joy, abundance and prosperity and these are the things on which we must focus our attention for all.

In order to love another it is first necessary to love our self, self being our Spirit. Spirit is our Power of Intention, Devine Intelligence, Holy Spirit or what ever other name you choose to give it. It formed us and sustains us. The Power of Intention in us has all the right answers for us if we would but learn to let go of ego and the physical and quietly listen for Its guidance. Loving self does not require us to love our behaviors. Paul, an Apostle of Christ in the Bible stated; “I do the things I don’t wish to do and do not do the things I know are right.” Once we understand the role of Spirit and learn to love our Spirit we gain an awareness making it possible to change any undesirable behavior and circumstance in ourselves and in others through conscious right thinking.

Once we begin to love the Divine Spirit within us it becomes easier to see past what we might classify as faults in others to the same Divine Spirit which is in them and love “them” unconditionally. We begin to understand how and why people we come in contact with behave as they do and are playing a very important role in our personal development. We are now able to have compassion for these people instead of condemning them. We also begin to understand that when we condemn another we also condemn our self cutting off the supply of prosperity.
