Listen - Talk - Act - a fourth component

Communication is the essence of all relationships be they business, family, community or personal.

Two major components of communication we all know are verbal skills and listening skills. However there is a third major component to communication which if not implemented can carry drastic repercussions. You may stand to risk losing something very dear to you.

This third component is action. It is not enough to listen and talk. Many of us have very well developed listening skills but if the action does not get past your mind into the physical world, it is useless. Listening to and then saying what others want to hear, however then doing nothing about it, will cost. Knowledge and understanding without application is of little use.

I have contemplated a fourth component to communication. That is to live through example.
If you speak of love - live love.
If you teach non-judgement - do not judge.
If you preach and desire compassion - be compassionate.
If you expect truth and honesty - walk in these ways.
Live the message in all things.
Develop your strength of Spiritual character through continuous introspection of that which you truly are. Then live through the manifestation of it in your physical experience.
In this way you shall find true and lasting love, joy, peace and abundance of life.
