Energy Flows Where Attention Goes

If we spend most of our time focusing on the negative aspects of a relationship or situation, guess what? We get more negativity. This is a universal law and will always hold true. The quickest way to destroy a relationship is too continually focus on what is wrong with it. It is equally true for any situation. It will continue to deteriorate as long as we continue to focus on what’s bad about the situation.

Nothing changes until our focus changes. A situation miraculously improves or solves itself as soon as we find something good about it and begin to focus in that direction. Relationships begin to mend once our focus is on the good points. You may say there are no good points. The universal law of polarity states that for every negative there is an equal or greater positive. Negatives and positives in a relationship are one and the same. They are just at opposite ends of the spectrum. We choose in which direction we wish to proceed by our thought choices and actions.

This being said take some time this week and be aware of where your focus is in your day-to-day relationships and situations. If you wish to improve a relationship or particular situation, seek out some good to focus on and see if it doesn’t make a difference, and not a half hearted effort with the thought that this will never make a difference because if that is what you think that is what you will get. Energy flows where attention goes.
