Word of the Week

I introduced the Word of the Week to help us improve our working knowledge of the English language. Your part if you choose to participate is to be aware of and use each word for the entire week whenever the opportunity presents itself. This way we will all increase our vocabulary and our knowledge of the English language supplying us with a very effective tool to utilize on our road to success.

Preparedness

If our desire is to realize abundance, health, love or anything else we must prepare ourselves to receive it.

It is absurd to expect perfect health while maintaining a sickly consciousness continually giving attention to those things that ail us. Giving our thought attention, discussing our or another’s sniffles, aches, and pains can only produce more of the same. It is important to understand that the body is the servant of the mind. Happy and beautiful thoughts will bring health and vitality. Pessimistic thoughts and thoughts of ill will, envy, and disappointment can only bring the body into decay. Anxiety opens the whole body to disease while strong confident thoughts will build the body up. We must guard our thoughts for the body is delicate and responds to that which we impress upon it.

I am aware there are other things to consider such as nutrition and exercise however these will have minimal affect if our thoughts are impure. Optimum health begins and ends with the mind. Our bodies are merely a reflection of what is within.

To receive optimum health or any other thing we might desire it is first necessary to prepare our inner environment to be conducive to that which we wish to manifest in our physical world.
Abundance cannot live in an environment of lack and limitation.
Health cannot exist in the mind of impurity.

Love cannot be experienced in a mind of hate, selfishness, envy or any of the many negative environments we create through impure thinking.

  1. If only we took a moment each day to appreciate what Mom Nature offers us, look at the beauty, appreciate her work, let a snowflake capture you, listen to the birds, watch a squirrel hide a nut, listen to a stream, let the ducks baracade your road, watch the crystals in the air on a frosty day, looks like silver dust from heaven, admire a rainbow, listen to the thunder and live the lightning, feel it's energy, it's power, hence, your quote Marshall "Happy and beautiful thoughts will bring health and vitality". Just take a moment each day and suck in what's around you and you will have better health and vitality. It works for me!live it, suck it in, appreciate it and most of all share it.... now that's vitality!
